Many of my friends and family over the years have said (usually in tears laughing - and no not the laughing WITH you type of laughter) that I should write a book about the crazy (certifiably so) life I live. The thought of being a published author and all the perks and benes that come with it is tempting, but then reality rears her Madusa-esque head and I think perhaps a short blog would be better suited to my lifestyle.
About the name: All of my Facebook friends with good memories can attest to the fact that I frequently post my favorite quote from one of my Husband's frazzled parenting moments. He was speaking to my then three-year old daughter and said, "WHY do you have a penny in your mouth when there is a PERFECTLY GOOD DONUT right there!" It was one of those moments when my normally perfect knight in blinding shining armor became human and as frustrated with the little apple of our eye. It was a simple 18 word sentence that let me know I was not alone in this parenting quagmire.
I will be adding to this blog as frequently as possible, which in my OCD over-achieving way will likely mean this will be a HUGE TIME SUCK but will be entertaining for all. I will also go back through some of my FB posts that were doozies and post them as new blog entries for all to relive.
